New York Wedding Photography- Twin Lakes Lodge Wedding- Arianna & Damian
Another 2 year anniversary couple !! Arianna & Damian now have the most adorable little boy! Let's start with they had the absolute coolest grooms cake EVER ! It had the sorting hat from Harry Potter! I love Harry Potter ! Arianna & Damian got married at one of my favorite locations to date. Twin Lakes Lodge in upstate NY. The venue was perfect. Outdoors, in the mountains, and the guests all got to stay in these adorable cabins! They had their ceremony right on the shore of the lake under the most beautiful arch made of twigs and flowers!
How we met: We worked together and became friends. We were friends for almost 10 years before we actually started dating.
First date: Hiking and sushi
How he proposed: On a camping trip with friends. He used a ring pop. He told me later that he was planning on proposing later with a real ring, but decided to do it the weekend we were away instead.
What went into planning the wedding: We planned the wedding during my winter break from school. I tried to stress as little as possible and we were really lucky with amazing vendors that made everything pretty easy. I found my dress on Pinterest and a lot of the decor ideas that I had came from there too. My mom is super crafty and helped us by making a lot of the decorations.
Favorite wedding memory: The reception. For our first dance, a friend of ours was there to sing our song, so it was really special. Our deejay was amazing and played all of the 90's music that we wanted to hear. I don't think we sat still the whole night.
Advice for future brides: Relax. Take some deep breaths and enjoy the day. It goes by too fast to be stressed about every little detail, and everything will fall into place.
