Baltimore Museum of Industry Wedding - Megan and Chris
I met Megan and her mom at a Bridal Show in DC. I actually really love bridal shows because it gives me a chance to meet people face to face. Now, to be honest I may have remembered her mom a little more because of her energy and excitement that her only daughter was getting married. When I met Chris and Megan later on I had to do a double take because he looked just like a friend of mine from Australia. In fact I may have called him Mike a few times...
I always know what kind of day it will be within minutes of walking in the door of the Royal Sonesta Hotel with the couple. First let me tell you the suite was decorated to the nines! So many little details were added to make the morning special. Then with Megan and her girls… the first few minutes included some the girls giving Megan some fun little gifts for her first night with Chris...Let’s just say it had everyone whipping with laughter… At that moment I knew I found my people and the day was going to be amazing !
We had a great morning full of laughs and happy tears as Megan just from behind the curtains to let her girls see her all dressed up for the first time.
I have to give a quick shout out to Nicole Bridal in Pa is the most amazing bridal shop. They took Megan’s stunning gown by Naama & Anat Haute Coutre and made it so functional. Now dresses usually have one little loop at the end of the train to help a bride cary the dress. They added in their own handles for the train. And then… And then… this is really exciting… they also added in handles on the veil in the perfect location for Megan to help throw out her veil for that beautiful sweeping look! Bridal Shops and alterations shops take note Nicole Bridal knows their shit. Brides it’s in PA not to far from Maryland so you need to check it out!
So it was suppose to rain like all day for Megan & Chris’s wedding. In fact… it probably did rain all around Baltimore because the light and the clouds were very dramatic the entire day. Their wedding took place on the water outside the Baltimore Museum of Industry. One of my favorite wedding venues in Maryland. When I asked Megan & Chris what their favorite moments were from their wedding they both agreed that their top favorite was probably their first kiss.
Before the ceremony the girls went to the top of Federal Hill for some photos while the guys stayed in the harbor. The day was just so perfect with the most amazing clouds floating through the sky.
Megan & Chris are huge Orioles fans. So on top of having a few little baseball themes thrown in here and there they also had a day after party with all their friends and family at the O’s game.
Their reception was amazing with the Bachelor Boys Band rocking out the dance floor with a special guest little CJ. CJ their ring bearer sang a Beatles song and really rocked it out! Everyone including the band was so impressed!!! And while people enjoyed local craft beers and music my favorite moment from the wedding was when I got to see Megan crowd surf across the crowd for the first time during some Green Day!
