Washington DC Engagement- Rachel & Greg - Maryland Wedding Photographer
Ah… summer time… long nights…. beautiful light…. and days that are hot as F ! It was so hot when we had planned to do Rachel and Greg’s engagement shoot that I asked them if they were ok if we split the shoot into two days enjoying both the best light of the evening and morning in DC. Fortunately, we lucked out and had the perfect two days for their shoot!
Day one started in Rock Creek Park where we hiked a few too many hills :) Then we went into Bethesda to where the two fo them met. Greg worked the front desk and the apartment complex that Rachel lived at. Everyday they would have casual conversations that grew longer and longer. Slowly falling in love with each other. Eventually it was enough and Greg finally asked Rachel out.
Day Two was a tour of DC with starting at the butt crack of dawn for sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial. Even at 4:45 in the morning the monument was busy! We had a beautiful sunrise and then headed to Nationals Park and Yards Park to finish out our morning shoot.
I had so much fun running around DC with Rachel & Greg. I am so excited for their wedding next May. In the meantime, plenty of time to grab a drink before!
