Twenty years ago I photographed my first wedding and instantly became addicted. I still remember the shot I took that lit the fire. The bride’s 3 flower girls (daughters) ran to her and knocked her on the floor. The three of them laughing so hard the smiles on their faces lighting up the image. Since then I have photographed over 500 weddings/elopements in 20+ states and 4 continents. I have captured a Greek wedding with 500 plus people in Chios Greece, I have witnessed elopements during sunrise at the Lincoln memorial more times then I can count, got artsy with couples for their themed wedding, flew up to Newfoundland in Canada to photograph an all Chinese wedding where they flew in all their vendors from China except me, I’ve photographed intimate backyard weddings in the DMV, ridiculously wild receptions, quiet elopements on mountain tops, a wedding on safari in Kenya and even a wedding surrounded by penguins in Antartica. I have won countless awards for my documentary photography and portraits and was even ranked in the top 3 for my wedding photography work internationally.

I am and have always been dedicated to my couples and creating images that induce emotions and bring back memories. My photography is more than just a pretty picture. It’s about connection. Connection between my couples, connection between families, connection with the location that they fell in love with for their wedding.

It’s about listening and hearing my couples wishes and desires, whether it is less time with posed photographs so they can enjoy their party or creating fun pieces of art that reflect their personality and their story. My work has always been inspired by the people I work with and who they are and never about being cookie cutter photography.

Every wedding I have ever photographed had a moment or image that still to this day sits in my mind. I have been so lucky to be able to capture these intimate memories for people for the past 20 years and I can’t wait meet new people and give them back moments to hold in the hand (or on their phone) for the next 10 + years.
