Virginia Backyard Elopement - VA Elopement Photographer
Let’s talk about best friends… because Danielle and Kevin have some pretty amazing ones… especially Danielle’s bridesmaids Kathleen. In early May I got a call from Kathleen that Danielle and Kevin’s (who were originally suppose to get married in May 2020 and moved their wedding to May 2021 ) parents were going to surprise them with an elopement in their backyard. She asked if I was available because she would really love to surprise them with me (I know , how awesome that I actually got to be a surprise). I was so excited because I love Danielle & Kevin and had so much fun with them during their engagement session in Blackwater Falls . Kathleen and Danielle’s parents told them what they had planned two days before the wedding and Danielle got emotional. Let’s be real… 2020 couples this shit is stressful. Having to REPLAN a wedding when everything already was planned… and then to have your parents surprise you with an elopement is just really emotional.
I met up with Danielle and Kevin and their parents and documented their backyard wedding. Danielle’s parent’s had the perfect backyard for an elopement too. After the ceremony Danielle & Kevin waved to their family and friends who were there with them on Zoom.
It was a perfect and beautiful day and I can’t wait till May 2021 to party with them!
