West Virginia Engagement Session with Sunrise at Weverton Cliff

We met up at 4am to begin our 1 mile hike up the mountain to capture sunrise on Weverton Cliff is Maryland. Sometimes… you don’t get that perfect sunrise. It was a foggy morning and the clouds were not moving to allow the sun to come through… until… it did… If you ever get a chance to do a photoshoot on a foggy sunrise morning do it… Through the trees you can often capture the most epic sun rays as the sun is finally coming up. Which is exactly what we were blessed with!

After our sunrise hike we were a bit sweaty so… how better to handle the hot summer days then taking it to the water. Luckily they had water access to the Shenandoah River so we headed down to cool off. We did two sessions one was a more sexy couple session on an air mattress in the water and the other was filled with fun in the famous flamingo and unicorn tubes!

We finished their session with some time with their adorable pups! I can not wait for Rachelle and Chris’s wedding this September at Harpers Ferry Brewery! If your looking for a brewery with stunning views for your wedding you need to check it out!
